The Last AI That Knows You / Volume III
The Agent That Lives Your Life
Software is moving beyond recommending an option to carrying out a task. An agent may interpret a request, contact other services and make decisions under delegated authority. That changes what it means to trust a system with personal context. This Reflection examines the distinction between knowing a person, understanding their intent and having permission to act. Drawing on emerging identity and payment systems, it asks how responsibility can remain visible when execution moves to software, why trust should remain revocable, and why an agent should never be the sole witness to its own behaviour.
